We had a stunning workshop yesterday by Nadya Drosdova. She has a lovely style, that is pleasing to watch and of course, to make too.
Mixed Media is a very creative technique and you could use everything you have at home – buttons, ribbons, old papers, floral net, pearls, glitter etc. The most important thing is to prepare your canvas with gesso. The only concern that I have: oh my god, it is so time consuming and expensive! But not to worry, it is all worth it.
I don’t even know, how one could end up with an ugly result, if you have such a pretty flowers to start with, and all the other materials, misty sprays and bling-bling. I’m in love!
I am definitely going to try these new techniques, that I learned today.
